PRICING YOUR PORTRAIT


The price of any portrait depends on a number of factors, including aspects such 
as the level of detail and forte, size and complexity of the work, and this means that 
pre-pricing any work of art before it is created can be a difficult task.  This is in part 
why the following guidelines, providing an idea of pricing, are only approximate.

Drawings start at $3000 and up, dependent upon factors listed above and under 
"Commissions".  Full color paintings begin at $3000 and up for a miniature portrait,
and at $5000 and up for larger portraits (anything larger than a 1/6th scale miniature) 
not including framing and any other special costs incurred in your portrait's production.  
Full color portraits portraying couples, or more than one person, start at $3500 in 
miniature and $8000 and up for larger and more elaborate works of art.
